Signed by VPLP and Patrick Le Quément, the Excess 11 combines the steering pleasure of a sports sailboat with the comfort of a catamaran. Its two external wheel helms, positioned aft like a monohull, provide true contact with the water. The saloon and cockpit, on the same level, offer a large living space.
This 2020 model, 3 double cabin and 2 head version, is equipped for autonomous cruising:
- Dessalator desalination unit 60 L/h, serviced in March 2025;
- Victron converter 3000 VA, 450 W solar panels, 4 AGM batteries;
- Complete Raymarine electronics: chartplotter, radar, AIS 700, autopilot, 2 i70 repeaters;
- 2 electric winches, code 0 in addition to jib and gaff mainsail;
- Teak on cockpit, toe rails and skirts, stainless steel davits, forward and aft sun lounges.
Yanmar 3YM30 AE engines, 30 hp in saildrive, 2,130 hours, regularly maintained (last service 04/03/2025, invoices available). Antifouling from September 2024. Design Category A.
